This poster aims to encourage people to participate in a marathon to support others living with HIV. The style I chose for this artwork is Bauhaus.
When I thought of the visual concept, I wanted to avoid using an obvious element like a running shoe. However, aiming for something more unconventional, I mixed between a shoe’s print and the HIV cause sign. The shoe’s print conveys an implicit message that your “step” makes a difference, and so encourage people to participate. As for the colors, inspired by the Bauhaus’s features, I limited my choice to the primary colors; The red is the color of the HIV cause sign, and the print’s colors are multiple to invite everyone from all races and genders participate, and help people live.
